Pickup was fine on a Saturday. However, locked the keys in the truck. My pickup location closed at 1pm. Called Enterprise Roadside Service at 2:40pm, and again at 3:10pm to explain that my location at a landfill would close by 4pm, and if they didn't get someone out soon, the truck would not be released until Monday. Oh, and why can't they give me the code for the keypad to unlock the truck! Apparently, my dire circumstances with no phone, no money, and no transportation meant little to them. They would just make more money from 1) two extra days of rental, and 2) the roadside service call fee! Received a recorded message on a borrowed phone, that service was to arrive between 4:30 and 5pm. DUH, did I not say that the place closed at 4pm? They didn't make it, I luckily called a local tow company. And once I was able to Google the dispatched roadside service provider, why would they send a tow truck from over 40 MILES away? ROADSIDE SERVICE SUCKED. BEST THING TO DO: call AAA or an independent local towing company.
