I booked my pick up for 7:30 pm. My flight was delayed and we arrived at the counter at 8:00 pm. As soon as I knew my flight was delayed I contacted Hertz and was told there would be no one at the counter and our only option was to pick up the car the next morning. We were staying 40 minutes away from the airport, so not a great option for us. I prepaid for 2 days and when I contacted carrentals.com I was told there was nothing they could do. When I picked up the car the next day, I was told there was nothing Hertz could do either. So in the end I paid for 2 day car rental and only got the car for one day.

Experience with both ends, pick up and drop off were great. However, wipers weren’t good on dodge caravan and car was really shaky when we were using them downhill in the mountains. Vehicle was vibrating from the breaks like the rotors were going bad. Not a good feeling in the Canadian Rockies.
