It’s been a week and I still have not been credited for over charges. The owner stated I could return the vehicle an hour later. Even though I offered to return later to get the vehicle, the owner, Courtney, insisted I could process the rental and return it before closing at 4 pm, instead of 3 pm. After waiting (I went home and returned) for the vehicle to be cleaned inside and out because it was filthy, I didn’t leave with the vehicle until almost 4pm while one of the workers tried to quickly clean it up. When I asked if the paperwork needed to be changed to reflect when I actually took the car, I was told that I was good because he was the owner and would be there tomorrow when I returned it and it would be okay as long as it was returned by closing, 4pm. I was charged 71.64 at closing Saturday and could not speak to anyone until Monday since they are closed Sundays. I was finally credited on The following Friday for the wrong amount, about $4 less than what I paid. I was told to send in a copy of the charges on my bank account if I wanted it corrected. What kind of business doesn’t know how much they charged you? I will be a lot more detailed when I process any rentals in the future. I want everything in writing. Lesson learned.
