I was waited on expeditiously and courteously. My experience with Hertz was top-notch in every regard.

Made a reservation and had a confirmation code but when I showed up they said they did not have a car! They admitted that their website was taking reservations even though they had no cars available. I understand glitches and mistakes happen but there was no effort made to solve the problem that they were responsible for. And for that I share with you a word of caution...

I am a big Hertz fan! I choose them over other brands because of their commitment to customer service, good value and efficient policies. After my recent experience last week, I will NEVER use Hertz again. Never! I found myself needing a car on short notice. Made a reservation and had a confirmation number. It turns out that making a reservation DOES NOT guarantee that you will get a car! Had to deal with Kylee (sp?) who was SO RUDE. Her response was that it wasn't her fault that there were not cars. I explained that I had a confirmation number. So? That doesn't mean we have a car. You made your reservation today, and we don't have any cars available. You'll have to go somewhere else. Really? That's the best that you can do? Keep in mind that this location is NOT an airport location, so you can't just go across the hall to the next vendor. I didn't have another car to take me to another office. I expected (when I made a reservation and was confirmed) to be able to pick up a car and had made no other plans! Had there been any compassion or remorse, it would have made a difference. I don't know why you got a confirmation number. And she was SO dismissive and rude. This is not what I expect from Hertz! It was a great hardship to believe I was now stranded in Orem, UT. When I asked for a supervisor, she said that person was on vacation. I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to, and she said no. Again, Hertz... epic FAIL! In the end, I got my needs taken care of, NO THANKS TO KYLEE!
