If your trip to Pouso Alegre is all organized but your travel itinerary is a bit on the empty side, we can give you a helping hand.
Stop by Mandusao Stadium. It's one attraction you'll find on most travelers' must-do lists. If you still have space on that travel itinerary, Pouso Alegre Municipal Theater and Jose Bento Park will keep you amused, as well.
Pouso Alegre is wonderful, there's no doubt about that — but there's plenty more to see just outside its borders. Hop back into the driver's seat and have a new adventure in J Nova Suíça. This great day-trip destination offers some terrific attractions, such as Boa Vista Palace.
Here are our recommendations on how to jump behind the wheel of a rental car with extra cash in your wallet:
Pouso Alegre knows how to entertain. You could spend a week in this place and not run out of things to do. If you want to experience as much as possible in this thriving metropolis, a rental car is a must. Keep in mind that driving around the city usually goes hand in hand with tight streets and even tighter parking spots. Don't worry though, because an economy or a compact car will make this a lot easier to manage. If you'd like to get out of the city and cruise around some of the mountains that Pouso Alegre is known for, you may prefer something with more room to move. A mid-size or full-size SUV will make that scenic road trip even more fun.
First of all, there's an impressive variety of both high-end and economy rentals in Pouso Alegre. What you end up going for will depend on how much you want to spend and what you plan to do. Specialty and prestige vehicles offer the best in comfort and class. If you want to treat yourself, why not pick an elite SUV, or perhaps a slick medium-sized vehicle? On the other hand, if you just need something to get from A to B as cheaply as possible, maybe go for a no-frills compact vehicle (or something else that's unlikely to break the bank).
