When I arrived at the check-in counter, the rep was talking with another potential rental. I waited over 10 minutes to be served and it took much longer for the paper work than I expected.

They had wrong driver on reservation, even though I had documents of the reservation with the correct driver on them ..would not let me change it unless I cancelled and rebooked and the reservation was prepaid , therefore would of lost my money.. This was in error by car rentals.com

I have rented cars many times before but this experience with Dollar seemed smoother, friendlier, more personal than past experiences. The man at the Harlingen counter was so much more pleasant the I dealt with before. I will go with Dollar again!
