Good value and convenient location for pick up and drop off. Long wait at pick up before getting service and it was difficult to understand why as the counter was not particularly busy when I arrived. However, the 'take a number' system worked well and the person serving me was friendly, helpful and seemed to be quite efficient.

Dear advantage team,
We booked your car rental services (including insurance) for our holiday in Vienna for 3 days and again for 6 days in London Gatwick airport in August of this year.
Your services provided via sixt in Vienna were excellent. Within 5 minutes we sorted all paperwork and could start our journey! The staff Member behind counter informed us bc of type if insurance we have taken from carental.com website that we eligible for all damage costs and we were to claim the money back from “Allianz insurance company”. We agreed to that and it was fine with us.
Advantage confirmation : LEP0001B26 (2-7 of August 2018)
However in London Gatwick at the EuroCar desk, it was a very unsatisfactory long process until we were able to get the car. First of all, even though there weren’t many people ahead of us, we had to wait for at least 25min. Then the staff memeber informed us that our additionally booked insurance (Allianz certificate no. EuSP2112340905 ) wasn’t valid. Furthermore we were charged again for you the costs for the rental, even thought we had paid while doing the booking online in the first place. A different price than stated online.
We do not understand how we are offered an insurance service on car rental.com booking platform which is affiliated with advantage:
A) valid in Vienna without any questioning.
B) not valid in London Gatwick
We had to purchase insurance again from europcar who was the agent for advantage at London Gatwick airport. Costs of insurance were over double then what we had initially paid through the car rentals.com website.
After being shown an equivalent car to what we had booked online we were told that the car was already taken. Luckily we were upgraded To a better car which was the only highlight of the experience. This whole process took more than one hour.
