I have never had such a bad experience with a car rental company, and I rent cars all the time. Our booking was confirmed, and they simply told us that they run out of cars. We had to fight for an hour, to be promised to get an update the day after but with little hope that we would have a car at all, and all other agencies had no cars either, we were just stuck and not able to start our vacation which definitely required a car. We had to get a taxi in town ($25) stay one night, call them and insist the day after, they found a car, paid another $25 taxi ride, and they wouldn’t cover the expense. When we got the car, it was so dirty and not cleaned that I ended up picking the vacuum cleaner of the agency myself to clean the car myself!!! On our return, we had gone over the 100kms per day, which cost us $22, they would not even waive it despite our additional $50 cost of taxi and delay of 16 hours to give us the car, which means we should also have paid for less time.

Overall great transaction. No problems.
Unlimited miles is always worth the upgrade if you want to see as much as possible
