Don’t bother using this if you’re renting during a peak travel time. They told us because it was through a 3rd party reservation that they had rented out all their cars to who reserved directly through the car rental company and paid for reserving. We were stuck without a car. Never using this again.

They didn't have a car in the category I rented and then they tried to push a lower model on me until I insisted, then they offered me an SUV which was okay but small engine. Then they tried to push insurance on me and I'd already bought online with your platform and they tried to downplay that value...irritated me, obviously. Pick up and drop off took way too long.

I arrived to pick up my car and the staff told me they didn't have it & were offering me an SUV triple the price of my rental... The deposit was ridiculous as well. When I said no he wanted to give me a Jetta again a lot more expensive than what I rented. He was telling me I had to purchase insurance through them that the on- line option did not count with them. Overall it was a bad experience the staff must get commission to be trying to make more money on rentals. I am glad I had family there that could help me out since I did not get the rental, as a result of their corrupt changes!

I prebooked rental insurance through CarRentals, but when I arrived at their counter they insisted that the insurance I had would not suffice there needs and as a result would need to get a supplemental policy from their company before I was able to drive off with a car.

The pick up service from the airport and transferring us to the car was excellent. But Mexico City had a strike that the gas stations were all closed, and we could not fill up the tank. The Hertz company not only charged us for gas but a severe penalty which wasn't our fault

From the minute I walked in, everyone was terrific. The first card didn't work, your person handled it with grace. We rented a VW, which was a fabulous vehicle. My quote for the week, from CarRental.com, was $56.00 for the week. It was like $4.79 per day. When we checked the car back in, after only 6 days, the charge was $449.00 for the week. Can you explain this to me please?

Upon arrival in Merida there wasn't a Budge counter, we asked for help and they told us there is a rep outside on the sidewalk, sure enough we walked outside and there was a Budget rep, in uniform holding a Budget sign. He immediately got his bus/very large van and drove us the 30 seconds to the Budget office, so far EXCELLENT service. The clerk at the counter kept trying to upsell the insurance, typical stuff. Overall so far so good. But then the car (their only car) was given to us, an old dirty VW Vento. We reserved a full size and we thought maybe the Vento is now a full size except on the back of the car was a Budget sticker and next to that another sticker that said MID. Oh well, it's a car. The car was dirty and had no options except a/c; roll down windows, no power mirrors and a lot of scratches on all four corners of the car, overall just a very basic car, but it ran fine, no problems at all. Upon return the customer service rep was a very very nice older woman who was as nice and professional as could be.
