Vehicle smelling cigarette, control not done (tire warning light on because pressure totally unbalanced). Vehicle delivered with the tank below half, without mention on the contract. So I returned the vehicle with the full, at my expense!

Don’t bother using this if you’re renting during a peak travel time. They told us because it was through a 3rd party reservation that they had rented out all their cars to who reserved directly through the car rental company and paid for reserving. We were stuck without a car. Never using this again.

I enjoyed renting with Alamo. They have better prices when it comes to coverage. The only problem was that the gas tank was at half and is hard to tell, because the mark may be about to lower with the digital gauge. That was the case with my vehicle. We drove for less than 30 min and it had already lowered.

It was a one day rental. They gave us a car with tons of scratches and did a poor job of marking the damage. I had to point out multiple scratches they had missed. They had a circle that showed anything smaller than the circle we don't need to mark. When I was dropping it off they informed me the circle did NOT apply to the tires and they charged me $150 for a knick on the tire that was about the size of a nickle. There was no chance that we caused this tire damage during our 1 day of driving. Also it took 70 minutes to get our car from the airport. Will never use Alamo again.

We had a delay in our flight do we immediately called avis customer service(3 hours before pick up) we asked if we could still pay for three day and just pick it up one day later. They said no and it would be over $500 to change a <$200 rental reservation. We called back two other times verifying policies that our brother in law could get three rental instead, what time was acceptable and what payment was accepted. Avis customer service helped us work out all the details and when my brother in law went to pick it up they said all the information given was wrong and he was not able to pick it up. I wasted over an hour on the phone throughout three separate phone calls and he wasted over an hour driving each way to get a car he wasn't even able to get.
