I picked up my keys and walked to my car in a snowstorm to find that the key fob was non-functional. I walked back into the airport and then had to stand in line for another 15+ minutes to exchange vehicles. They could not find the keys for the replacement vehicle and then after another 10 minutes I finally was walking back in the cold snow to the new car. This car was not fully fueled (the mark was clearly below the full line), but I left regardless. I drove very little during my stay and still paid $17 to fill the car before I returned it. Usually it costs me $7-$10 for half week re-fueling. When I mentioned this to the clerk upon return, she was dismissive and said that the car was fueled enough for her standards. I frequently travel for work and will be avoiding using Budget in Moline from now on.

I had reserved a mid-size car but when I arrived the smallest vehicle was a minivan! I’m a 72 year old handicapped senior citizen driving a minivan in an unfamiliar town. NOT GOOD I called the next morning and was told they had a trade for me. After a 20 minute drive I was told it was no longer available. I would be in the minivan again. I was upset. The other person at the counter went to the back and came out with keys to a Chevy Malibu. I thought to myself WHAT THE.... Thanks to the young man I felt safer. He was nice whereas the lady was insisting nothing but the minivan was available.
