My experience with this supplier was easy, easy, easy. Booked online for a great rate. Picked my car up and was able to finish up at counter in a matter of minutes. My rental was driven over to me and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Drop off was equally as smooth and customer service was superb.

My flight was late and then ended up standing in line for 45 minutes. At that point, the lady tells me my 'time has expired' and I lost my rental. The only way they would give me a car was if I paid twice the original amount. She also tried forcing the e toll thing and gas. We drove over 400 miles and didn't encounter 1 toll on the roads she said were tolled. Will never use them again.

Nice car, worked well, no problems with it during rental and no problems on return. When I picked it up, however, the guy at the rental counter really pushed me to get a toll road pass. I said I was sure I would not need it. He asked me where I was going I told him and he said I would be tolled and charged. I still did not get it. When I looked into it later to be sure (after going way out of my way to avoid a possible toll) I found that he was referring to the OPTIONAL toll lanes/HOV lanes on I-15. I was driving alone, and had no intention of using those lanes for the short distances I was going. He also pushed me very hard, and I heard others at the counter pushing other customers very hard, on the loss-damage waiver insurance (Which I also declined, my credit card was chosen to cover the gaps my car insurance does not take care of). The loss-damage waiver push was nonexistent at my next stop in California where I used a different rental agency. Perhaps this is just the San Diego counter, so I would warn people away from that site but not the company as a whole. The bad experience at the counter stayed on my mind every time I was driving that car. I really liked how they took detailed photos of all damage to the car at pickup with me accompanying them as a way to document existing damage.

Decided to give this company a shot even though they had some poor reviews. My experience wasn't brutal but they aren't near as polished as the big players and seemed desperate to upsell you on their products. There was a big hassle because I didn't have my passport on me, although I had a valid driver's license, Nexus card, black Visa card and a photo of my passport. It was poor customer service to make me shuttle back to the airport and they even suggested that I try one of the bigger companies as they would probably have no issue (very strange). They try hard to upsell you on their gravy product and even though I had all the documentation, there was a lengthy debate on whether I wanted to add their insurance onto my already double insured vehicle as well as pre pay for fuel, rent a GPS, blah, blah, blah. PS: the gaf with the fuel is they say it's a lower cost per gallon but they charge you for the amount of fuel the manufacture says it takes to fill the car, including all the lines in the car, the reserve space and all the way to the top of the tank. So if you bring it back with anything other than fumes, it's a rip off. Like I say, they all try these tactics to take your $200 weekly rental to $500, $600 or even $700 but this company seems particularly desperate. Maybe their employees are on thin ice or maybe they get a fat bonus but either way, it's one of those things where you hold your nose, hold your ground and get on with your vacation. Having said all of that, I would recommend this company if you want a basic rental and they are the cheapest but I would tell them to have all their paperwork in order before arriving at the counter.
