everything was fine except the guy who we got the car from didn't have good customer service skills he wasn't rude but he wasn't nice or friendly either. he seemed bothered and acted like he didn't really want to be there.

As much as I try to be accepting, the service from this location was not good. I dont know if its from AVIS or CARRENTALS.COM but as soon as I made my reservation, I had someone charge my card for $54 for insurance and not AVIS or CARRENTALS wanted to help me with it. The AVIS guy at the counter simply told me to just deal with it on my own. Then AFTER returning the car, AVIS charged me an additional $49 which was not on the receipt and nowhere to be found that I owe them - I had to get my bank to refund it! It was just fraudulent and then another 4 transactions on the same card from somewhere in Berlin and other places - as if someone stole the card - I had to get a new card. Then, the car heated up my charged and it exploded and doesnt work anymore - We got charged extra $$$ for asking for another day, which hasn't happened to me with other rental companies. The car was okay... missing fluids and oil, but it worked well. I dont consider it to be a great deal - it wouldn't connect to our phones, it has no AUX cable - and I ended up paying $45 a day for it, without ANY insurance. I can tell you that I will NEVER rent a car from AVIS again. Especially not in Topeka.
