I was late picking up my rental (so I understand there would be ramifications for it) but there were no cars available, so I ended up waiting an hour to get a car that didn’t match what I reserved.
The staff at the desk did a great job providing customer service but the overall experience of getting the car wasn’t great.
The car smelled like smoke, which was not pleasant since I don’t smoke but I was pressed for time and couldn’t wait for another return.
The battery to key fob died while I was using it, so I had to manually lock and unlock the car all weekend.
When I returned the car, there wasn’t a representative working at the drop off location so I had to wander around the building to find my way back to the desk to turn in the keys.

Most rental companies have a place you can leave your car, I had to park 6 blocks away and walk to get the car. The car was in good condition but because the location was closed on the day I returned and I left it in a drop box the charged my card 2 $66 dollars transaction whichh I wasn’t accounting for. Hopefully they will reimburse that

This location did not have my reservation. I was given another car that they wanted me to pay extra for because it was an upgrade. Only after I called corporate did they honor the price I originally paid. The car I got was absolutely filthy! They informed me that they had no one to clean the cars after they are returned. I will never use this location or probable Hertz again!
