Limited vehicle selection; old fashioned rental technology, but friendly service makes it all work! I would absolutely rent from this location again.

We were relieved to find a car rental within walking distance from the train station in Hicksville. It gave us a great opportunity to drive the east end of Long Island without starting in a big city.

The clerk told me when I picked up my vehicle that there would be a number of gas stations open close to the airport even though I would be returning my car around 4 AM. However there was not one gas station open close to the airport at that time. Very upsetting. However the clerk did say that if I wasn’t able to fill the tank they would charge me at $2.03 per gallon. So I hope that is honored. Also it was very difficult and frustrating paying tolls. Once I got caught in traffic in the pre-paid Lane and a couple of times I exited thinking I had to go to the right to pay a cash toll when I didn’t need to. Poor signage!! Also EPASS would not let me pay for the one toll I missed. Said charge had to go through rental company. Frustrating experience!! It was also hard to find the proper space to drop off vehicle. No parking spaces were marked Budget. Wasted a lot of time figuring out where to leave car.
