My first time renting with Hertz! My original pickup location (Elm street) was closed and I was not aware until I arrived. They did have additional contact numbers on the door and the individual I spoke to notified me where I could pick up my rental. I like being able to drop off my vehicle when I return home and I was not able to do this with Hertz/Mitchell location. Also, putting an additional $200 hold on a credit card should be discontinued.

My experience during this rental period was superb! This rental was definitely one of the best from the easy pick up, to the easy and convenient drop off. There was no long grueling process just name, keys, and go! I might add that our vehicle was better than I imagined! Thanks for giving me the incentive to travel more often! ;)

The overall rental experience was good and I would use them again, but the service at this particular location could have been better. I arrived at the location a few minutes early, but car was not ready on time. I had to wait for 30 minutes past my time, and the paperwork took longer than most other locations I have been to. The car itself was clean and in great condition. Upon returning the car, the clerk could not provide me with the final invoice because their printer was not working. They tried to email it to me but told me their system was very slow and the message was not going through. They asked me to leave my email and they would send it to me by the end of day. I never got it and had to call the general customer service to get it. I will try other locations before deciding to return to this particular one.

This was the worst experience i have ever had. First off the location was super hard to find. The customer service was so so at best. Not to mention they put a 200 dollar hold on my card that still is there week later. My reservation was suppose to be for a Nissan but I get to the lot and there are none. I get stuck with this uncomfortable Toyota. The tire pressure light was on the entire trip. Not sure have serviced the car was.Online they said insurance was 36 for the trip turns out it was 36 a day. The car itself was bad on gas and driver seat was stuck and hard to move. Very out of date. I will never ever use hertz or this website again. I only took the car because of the no cancellation, what a waste of time and energy. Extremely disappointed in the service I received

What types and makes of rental cars are on offer in Cincinnati?

That all depends on your needs and what activities you want to do in Cincinnati. If you're having a bit of trouble choosing, make sure to read over our chart below. We have compared the most popular vehicle categories for you:

What's the age requirement to rent a car in Cincinnati?

Normally, the age limit for renting a car in Cincinnati is 21. But, you may find that there is an additional charge if you're under 25 or for larger or higher category rentals. Read through the supplier's terms to figure out what the exact rate is before you reserve your rental.

Does Cincinnati require rental car insurance?

When cruising through Cincinnati or the rest of the U.S.A., you'll need insurance. Many suppliers need proof of insurance before you rent a car. Most countries require the driver to have insurance. You may be able to buy additional insurance through the rental car dealer for your trip, if you know your insurance won't cover your rental during your trip. Additionally, as a U.S. citizen, you can also book Collision Damage Coverage through CarRentals.com at checkout.

Many major card issuers, like American Express or MasterCard, provide some coverage, however, there are usually restrictions. For instance, they may not cover your rental car if you get a larger or luxury vehicle. Be sure to check the rental car company's policy before you decide.

What are the different fuel policies?

Most suppliers give you a choice of fuel policies. Below is a list of the most common ones.

What type of fuel policy should I choose?

At CarRentals.com, we advise a full tank policy. You should get into your car with the needle at "F". However, if you return your rental with less than the amount you received it with, most companies will charge a premium, and sometimes up to 3X the amount of current gas prices to refill it. For a cheaper rate, find a gas station before you bring it back.

Is it worth getting unlimited miles?
