Avoid paying an arm and a leg for a rental car by following our top tips:

• A car can take you anywhere — so can we. Compare the cheapest deals from the leading rental companies in just a couple of clicks.
• By submitting only your email address into our Price Drop Alert, you'll know all of the best discounts for your selected location;
• Search for both airport and non-airport pickup and drop-off office locations to be sure you're receiving the absolute best deal around;
• If you have room to move in your schedule, adjust your dates to find lower prices on different days of the week;
• If possible, keep your pickup and drop-off times as similar as possible. If you return your car later than you picked it up, you may be charged an extra day unnecessarily;
• Sometimes rental outlets offer discounts if you pay immediately, so make sure you look out for these kinds of offers;
• Don't let the deal you want slip through your grasp. Book as soon as you can and lock in your dream set of wheels.
