I was told to go the 5th Ave. South location to pick up my over two week reservation. I arrived and they told me a Lyft car would arrive to take me to Hwy. 280 location on Hwy.119 E. That happened and 40 minutes later was far out of town. They tried to process my rental with all that I had, a debit card. It failed more than once. The they said if I could go to the bank and deposit the amount needed ($400), they would have the car ready upon my return. Another Lyft ride to the bank and back. Then they still could not process my bank account debit card. Was told the system could not override it. So I was put on yet another Lyft ride back to downtown Birmingham. With some progressive thinking this could have all been avoided downtown by them processing my debit card. Then if it failed, no problem. But after 3 hours,my rental was rejected. I was furious!

The pick-up was ok, had some minor problems but customer service did what they needed to do to make it right. I did order a mini-van but when I got to the rental all they had was a Nissan Pathfinder.

the car was not well cleaned and the tank was not completely full (3/4 only). there was a damage on the left front wheel when I pickup the car and on returning they wanted to charge me for it. I returned the car with the full tank.
