Accepted Answer

If your trip to Batumi is all organized but your travel itinerary is looking a little empty, we can give you a few hints and tips.

Question 2

What kind of rental car should I get for Batumi?

Accepted Answer

Batumi is major. You could vacation for a week in this place and not run out of things to see. If you'd like to take in as much as you can in this busy metropolis, you'll need a rental car. Keep in mind that driving around big cities usually comes with tight streets and limited parking spots. But don't stress — an economy or a compact car can make this a lot easier to manage. If you're aiming to skip town and explore the caves that Batumi is famous for, you'll probably prefer a rental car with a little more power. A mid-size or full-size SUV will get you around comfortably.

Question 3

Should I get a luxury rental car in Batumi?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes the journey is more significant than the destination, which makes finding the right car important. If you're about to embark on an amazing road trip around Batumi, a robust and stylish SUV could be the perfect solution. If you're hoping for the best possible deal and plan to stick to city driving, a budget compact is a wise pick. All you need to do is decide what will suit you best, round up the troops, and hit the road.

Question 4

Is it difficult to park in Batumi?

Accepted Answer

If you're going to leave your car in the middle of town and wander around the area on foot, you shouldn't have too much trouble locating a spot. Just be sure to read the nearby parking signs and stick to the rules. You don't want to spoil an adventurous day out with a fine.

Question 5

Does Batumi have peak-hour traffic?

Accepted Answer

As with many cities, the roads are generally busy just before and after work during the week. However, thanks to its smaller population of around 121,800, traffic isn't a big issue in Batumi.

Question 6

What happens if I get a speeding fine while driving a rental car in Adjara?

Accepted Answer

More often than not, your chosen rental car company will charge the amount stated on the fine to your credit card, including local taxes and surcharges. Alternatively, they may forward your contact details to local law enforcement agencies, who'll then issue a fine to your postal address.
