Our family has used Enterprise for van/larger vehicle rentals for years. This time I reserved a Suburban, as we had six adults plus luggage in our party, and expected to spend a lot of time on the road. ONE DAY before our trip Enterprise called me to tell me that due to a van recall, they had to issue my vehicle to current van renters. I didn't understand how a recall on a vehicle I didn't reserve turned into me not getting the vehicle I needed. And due to extreme high demand in our area (spring break) there were no other vehicles available. I met with management the next morning when they opened up and was told the larges vehicle available was a Nissan Pathfinder. Very disappointing. After learning that something like this could happen, I'm no longer renting from them, as I was very disappointed with the way Enterprise handled it. The agent that was assisting me was extremely apologetic, but I knew there was nothing he could do. However, the manager I spoke with took no responsibility for my serious inconvenience and acted like she wanted to go away.
