Reserved a Premium class & was excited that I could pick my own vehicle.....until I took the (10min) walk outside to see a section of Impalas as my only choice! Upon return, the agent scanned the car & told me that I was listed in a totally different vehicle & told me to go to the booth to finalize my return. After ANOTHER 10min, the corrected their mistake.

The employee failed to explain why I prepaid $180 for the car and was being charged another $252 at the counter. I told her it didn’t make sense that we would be paying $430 for a car for 3 days and she pretty much said too bad and proceeded to charge me for a full tank of gas as well. A stranger, after seeing me upset, explained it may be a deposit and I would receive that money back upon returning the car. The employee never explained that so I’m hoping that is the case. she also pressured me into paying $42 for gas when I used about a quarter of a tank and gas cost less than $2.77 a gallon everywhere we went. I was very frustrated with my experience. I would like some money back for the deposit and the gas that I didn’t use.

There's no finer way to explore Tennessee than from behind the wheel of your own rental car. Here are some basic details about Tennessee to get your trip started. Tennessee is a state of United States of America. Its capital city, Nashville, is home to around 530,900 people. Have a chat with the locals and discover more about the exciting things to do here.
You might find it a challenge getting a parking space right in front of these iconic attractions, but trust us — they're most definitely worth a short stroll. The greatest thing about heading to Tennessee is crossing these off your bucket list:
Adventure awaits around every twist and turn of this wonderful area. Tennessee is one of those special places where the journey is just as thrilling as every one of its beautiful destinations. With your own rental car, you can spend as little or as long as you like exploring every square inch of it. Explore some (or all) of this place's most famous cities:
We've rounded up all the tricks of the trade to help you save some serious cash:
Simple to maneuver and with great gas mileage — it's not surprising that compact cars are the most booked category of rental vehicle in Tennessee. And if you're planning to tackle the city streets of Memphis or Nashville, you'll be pleased you booked a smaller set of wheels too. Weave through traffic, parallel park with ease, and glide down narrow lanes — discover why bigger doesn't always mean better!
Of course, you can't vacation in Tennessee without experiencing a few of its nature spots. Go for a road trip around rivers and rolling hills from the comfort of something larger, like a mid-size SUV. Round up the troops and whatever supplies you need — these models have ample space for your gear without compromising on room.
You'll be happy to hear that there's an impressive variety of both economy and high-end rentals in Tennessee. What you opt for depends on what you're willing to spend and what you're planning to do. Prestige vehicles are hard to beat if you're all about mod cons and comfort. If you feel like splashing out, why not grab an elite SUV, or perhaps a slick mid-sized sedan? Otherwise, if you just need a car to get from A to B as efficiently as possible, you're better off choosing a no-frills compact vehicle (or something else that won't burn a hole in your wallet).
