Unfortunately the pickup address named in the order by CarDelMar and named on the Europcar homepage in Taormina was not up to date anymore because the agency had changed and was now to be found at a different address. An email to CarDelMar asking for help was not answered. The actual loan transaction and the rental car were then impeccable.

The agent's computer was down when I picked it up and she was unable to include a condition report that showed damage to the right front wheel. When I dropped it off at the airport I got charge for that damage. I didn't have the time or language skills to argue with the Hertz agent as I had to make my flight. I'm not sure what to do to remedy this. Please advise.

We had a car reserved in Taormina for a 12:00 noon pick-up. We arrived early and were told that there were not any cars available even for those with reservations. We were told that cars would be available by 5:00 pm. We went back to the office in the late afternoon, it was closed when it stated times to be open. An agent finally showed up after 5 pm driving our rental car. We lost 1/2 day of sightseeing in Syracuse. Very bad!
