From the moment I walked into the Hertz office, I sensed this was going to be a difficult pick up. The person working at the Hertz location was sitting on a sofa on a personal phone call. When he was done with his phone call, I greeted him instead of him greeting me. I let him know I had reserved a car through CarsRental.com and I had purchased insurance. He charged again the fee and I had to tell him again I had already paid. I tried to show him the payment I made to CarsRental.com but he said he didn’t need to see that and it was not his problem. He attempted to sell me car insurance but I told him again I had already paid for insurance through car rentals.com. He became more rude when I did not purchase his insurance and said in a threatening manner If something happened I would not be protected by insurance. He eventually reimbursed me the $50.00 charged me and gave me a receipt. I was given the keys to a Kia car and instructed to go get it by myself. I informed him I had spefically requested a corolla and driven to that location for that car. He said “you get what you get, just because you see it on the website doesn’t mean you will get that car. If I didn’t like it, he could cancel my resevation right now.” I had a funeral to attend and had no choice but take the car. The cars tires where not properly inflated. The sensor was on. I paid 3.00 to get them inflated. I returned the 20 minutes before the due time with a full tank and the Hertz person is trying run my credit card for 66.00.

My whole experience with Hertz was a disaster. When I got there to pick up my car and was told they had NO cars available. After going back and fourth with them they found one that didn’t work properly. To make matters worse the woman was very rude. Never again.
