Sometimes it pays to think small, especially if you'll be hitting the lively streets of Manila and Davao. Economy rental cars are the number one choice for those visiting Philippines — and there's loads to love about them. Easily zip around town, experience superb gas mileage, and save cash on rental fees. These cost-effective cars prove bigger isn't always better! That said, Philippines boasts some incredible coral reefs, mangroves, and sandy shores. It'd be a shame not to leave the city limits to check out those natural gems. If that sounds like something you want to do, book a full-size car or an SUV. Even if you don't think you'll take the path less traveled, you'll be thankful for the extra room.
