My experience was not a good one. On arrival to tobago's airport I waited for an hour and no shuttle arrived. I called the number provided but that number was an incorrect one. I was then able to get a number from the tourism building in the airport for the shuttle driver who knew nothing of my booking. His name is Jeremy and he was kind enough to leave his house and come carry us to our hotel. I was unable to get a car at that time. This meant I couldn't fulfill my plans for my first night in the island of Tobago. The following morning Jeremy picked me up at the hotel and took me to the car rental place. However his Supervisor informed me that I would now have to pay a walk in price. This price was way higher and for the two days I ended up paying the same as I would have paid for three days. The car was a good car but the booking service was an awful one. to date they have not gotten my booking from carrentals.com. This was also the experience of a family member who also used the service. I think that i should be compensated to be honest.

First off....the number provided in the email is not a local number. The number doesn't connect even if you have international calls enabled...had to google the right number. Secondly, once you are collected from the airport and taken to the rental office, the rental rep really tries to make you buy the Collision Damage Waiver which was not applicable in our case since it is covered under the platinum visa.....even asking you to ask VISA to send proof that it covers...ridiculous. Lastly, the quoted price in the email was not the same and the rep quote something about after-hours charges
