Rental cars in Belgium

Being in control of where you go and what you do is one of the greatest advantages of having your own rental car while on vacation. Take charge of your adventure around Belgium and enjoy the freedom of discovering its biggest and best destinations at your own speed. Experience some (or all) of this place's most famous cities:

• Brussels (population of 1,019,000)
• Antwerp (population of 459,800)
• Ghent (population of 231,500)
• Charleroi (population of 200,100)

Avoid spending an arm and a leg on a rental car by following our suggestions:

• Browse as many different bargain deals as possible (we make that job child's play!);
• Take advantage of our Price Drop Alert email and stay up to date when prices fall for your destination;
• Before you hop behind the wheel, check out both airport and non-airport pickup and drop-off office locations to ensure you're scoring the cheapest deal in town;
• If you're not bothered about which day of the week you collect the keys to your car and your plans are flexible, play around with days and dates to find the best deal;
• To avoid paying late fees or for a whole extra day, aim to keep your pickup and drop-off times as similar as possible;
• Some companies reward you big time for prepaying — watch out for these kinds of deals;
• And lastly, secure your favorite set of wheels as soon as you can to score yourself a load of savings!

Not only are minis the smallest car available for rent in Belgium, they're also the most popular with travelers. Fuel-efficient and easy on the bank account, these nifty cars are ideal for scooting in and out of lanes in the busy streets of cities like Brussels and Antwerp. They're also very simple to park!Of course, Belgium is widely known for its caves, gorges, and rolling hills. It would be a shame not to escape the city to tour those picturesque vistas. If that sounds enticing, reserve a full-size car or an SUV. Even if you don't intend to take the path less traveled, you'll appreciate all the extra legroom.
