Question 2

What kind of rental car should I get for Tunjuelito?

Accepted Answer

Tunjuelito is a few miles out of downtown Bogotá, so it's likely you'll be doing a decent amount of driving. If you're going to use Tunjuelito as a base from which to explore the city and its surrounds, book a smaller set of wheels. Nothing beats a compact vehicle for maneuvering into those tight downtown parking spots. Alternatively, if you're heading away from the bright lights and traffic, go for something with a little more power and legroom. Not many tourists regret spending that little bit extra on a premium or a full-size car.

Question 3

Should I get a luxury rental car in Tunjuelito?

Accepted Answer

First of all, there's a huge range of both economy and luxury rental vehicles in Tunjuelito. What you go with depends on your funds and what you're hoping to do. Specialty and prestige vehicles are hard to beat if you're all about mod cons and comfort. If you want to indulge yourself, why not grab an elite SUV, or perhaps an upmarket medium-sized sedan? Otherwise, if you're just after a car to get you from A to B as efficiently as possible, you're better off going with a versatile compact vehicle (or something else that won't break the bank).

Question 4

Is it difficult to park in Tunjuelito?

Accepted Answer

It can be difficult to find a car space in Tunjuelito. Once you get your hands on one, be sure to pay attention to the signage. Overstaying the time limit or parking where you're not supposed to can leave a big hole in your vacation budget.

Question 5

Question 6
