My experience will change from average to good once I receive my deposit back it has been over a week.

There was only one worker (Michael at the downtown Sacramento location) who seemed to be holding the fort down properly. My pick-up time was 9:00 AM and I couldn’t leave the site until 9:55 AM due to my rental van needing to be washed. Michael could tell that I was starting to wonder why washing the van was taking so long, so he told one of his associates to go take me to my van immediately. The associate completely ignored his orders and proceeded to work on something else. Michael had to repeat to her to please take me to my van, so she finally did with no urgency surprisingly. She kept trying to convince me to pay for collision or damage coverage in which I told her I didn’t need it since my car insurance covers rental car claims. She then passes me over to another associate to take me to my van. He then also tries to convince me to pay extra for some collision/damage coverage in which I told him vehemently I am not interested and that I’m already late and need to be on my way. Before I hop into the van, he tells me that the van only has a little over half a tank of gas. He kindly said that he would mark in the notes that I only need to return the van with 1/4 tank of gas for the inconvenience. After signing my initials and signature to verify that I declined all of the collision/damage options and to complete my agreement, I finally was in my van and got to drive off. Two days later, I checked my email to see the final bill for my agreement and noticed that I was being charged for a damage waiver fee in which I didn’t agree to pay for. I called the site to explain the situation, and after having to explain how everything went down in detail, luckily the worker who picked up the phone said that they would reverse the fee for me. Lesson learned- I will never rent from this location again and I will always check to make sure that I am initialing/signing that I am declining (not accepting) extra options. I gave this review a one star for the one worker (Michael at the counter) who seemed legit and for only having to return the van on 1/4 tank of gas. I still have to make sure I get my money back for the damage fee I never agreed to since the worker who said he would reverse it for me didn’t sound too reassuring.
