Avis prices are very good but they seem to over sell their rentals and consequently they had a shortage of cars. Surely they must know that all they are doing is annoying a lot of customers who will undoubtedly rent from other Rental companies. The Avis associate said that this was a very regular occurrence. Will not be renting from them again at Miami Airport.

After a 9 hour international flight and a terrible baggage claim experience I was not expecting to wait in line nearly an hour in line to pickup my reserved SUV. There were over 20 people waiting in line with only 3 checkout stations manned out of 8 stations. Each transaction seemed to take forever. No clerk seemed interested in moving the process along and none offered an apology for the excessive wait. Avis has certainly not come a long way and I will not be using Avis again.

Price was higher than I've purchased in the website. Avis customer service didn't help . They said that was a third party and they had nothing to do with the price negotiated.
