At first, I was quite pleased with the pick up process until my vehicle was brought up for me. I had reserved an intermediate sedan type vehicle with space for 5 and trunk space for at least 3 suitcases. They provided a recently reclaimed Kia Soul: barely accommodates 5 and has no trunk; the rear of the vehicle is a hatchback area that fit 1 suitcase or 2 small cases. I asked why I was not getting a sedan and they said thos vehicle was better. I disagree. It was a 4 cylinder, uncomfortable seating, glorified truck on a small wheelbase with no bed. I was displeased, but had a tight time frame and didn't have time to exchange the vehicle. When I called and asked if I could exchange the vehicle nor get a partial refund for the difference between intermediate (which I paid extra for) and economy class, they said it was recently upgraded in class from eco to intermediate. I'm not renting from HERTZ again!

I had a long day of travel and when I arrived at the off-site Hertz office, I was told they had to send me to another location to pick up the car. I freaked initially but they were kind and professional and peeled me off the ceiling and got me to my rental pdq. I was very pleased and impressed with the reps who took care of me when I was tired and grumpy!

Really appreciated the availability of vehicles over the holidays, customer service of the staff, and ease of pick-up and drop-off. Cost for a 2 week rental was the best value in town.
