Ok prices. Friendly and trustworthy guy at the desk in Siena. FREE GPS. 15 euro extra for using the Key Box is far too much.

The representative that we worked with was great, once we were able to get to her. We waited in line for about 30 minutes. There was only four people ahead of us. We are Hertz members and prebooked our rental. The car was new and worked without issue.

Everything was very fast and easy at the rental office. The team was fast and friendly. The vehicle was also, by Italian standards, super clean and in pristine condition. Everything went very well.

Had to wait a long time to get our car, which significantly cut into our plans for the day. The carseats we rented were very poor quality and we were not able to install them securely (the LATCH function didn't work, so we had to use straps, and they wobbled all around). The car itself was very nice and worked perfectly for us. It was comfortable and clean. The navigation randomly said ocean several times while we were driving, which was weird but entertaining.

This HERTZ branch was a hassle in trying sell the extra insurance - - - which i already had purchased for$18. For a one day rental. When I went to get the car the receipt noted 1 dings, but omitted 2 additional more serious and very visible damages that i had to point out to them. In addition, the gas gauge was about 3/8 less than full, and the receipt said that it was full. I had to go back to the garage to have them correct their “mistake”. The car not properly cleaned. The inside front windshield was filthy and was difficult to see with the glare of the sun. I returned the car at about 4-5 pm and the agent was gone, so i followed the instructions and returned the car. I left the car with more gas than when i picked it up.
