Neither the contract nor the final bill haven't been sent to me to my e-mail address. Money had been taken out of my Amex before I returned the car and the bill wasn't adjusted as the car was returned two days earlier. I purchased the car insurance in the States when I reserved the rental car. There was no evidence that I had purchased it and the desk person tried to sell me another insurance. Eventually we resolved the problem. I rent a car every year in Slovenia and this year renting with SIXT wasn't a good experience for me.

The car is new and well equipped. Sixt has a separate parking slot a few minutes (by foot) away from the office. Furthermore, there is a two-step check-in: One first has to check-in at the main office and then check-in with the documents to receive the car. Once I got the keys, I loaded in my suitcase, took the sun cover for the car out of the suitcase and put it on the back seat. I've heard that the inside of the car was not clean (white stops all over the inside of the car, and trash from the previous renter), and gave it back to the rental staff to clean it. When I got back the car, the sun cover was gone. I drove away already. Once I've got the car I've been back for the lost-and-found.

The car and equipment was great, clean and safe. The price ended up being twice as much as promised on the bill. Forced me to buy an insurance (although I had one already) because I could not spontaneously block 3000€ of my credit card. Did not tell that this would be necessary anywhere before. The sixt phone number to call in the place I rented it did only respond with a recorded band telling me to wait. Took ages, nobody ever picked up, no matter what day time I called. Tried 3 times. Return and pick up were fairly easy.
