The car was a standard that turned itself off every time the car stopped for fuel efficiency. No one told us this so we thought the car was stalling out at every red light, stop sign and round about. Which also made getting into round abouts difficult No one told us how to put the car into reverse. You had to pull up on a trigger and put it where first gear was. Once I figured out how the car operated I liked it a lot though.

Car insurance is a true rip off and costs more than the actual daily rental.

Everything was perfect in Ireland except for the problem we met on the evening of August 20th to August 21st. A mechanical problem happened on the evening of the 20th, a repairman was sent to us and took the car because it had become unusable. We had to be reminded the next day at 9am to have a new car, but at 10am we contacted the agency because no news of them. After we transfer or give back numbers to call a dozen times even in London ... We were told by Tralee that we would be called back and we might have a car to pick up at Killarney (6km from the accommodation). Killarney at 3pm, person at the counter and we had to call again because no news from them. I still call Autoescape, if he could try to help us what was perfect. The auto escape person called Dublin and then contacted me again to tell me that a car has been waiting for us since 11am at Tralee (40min drive from Killarney). We had the agency of this city on the phone and in no case they warned us of that. We picked up a new car at 5pm by sending someone to Killarney. We still lost a day and luckily we contacted them otherwise we would have never heard from them.
