Experience start to finish was wonderful

We returned our car on the day of a bad snow storm. We were meant to get a shuttle back to the ferry, but upon arriving just after 4pm were informed that their shuttle was no longer running (they stop at 4pm, even though they’re open much longer?) - and there was nothing they could do for us. Can times were running almost 2 hours and their only suggestion was that we (two young girls) WALK, with all of our bags, in the snowstorm, along a busy highway, in what would be a 30-40min walk (on a good day!). There were 3 employees there and many cars, and not one of them would budge on this “policy” of not being able to take us. For me, it comes down to being a decent human above and beyond the customer service aspect, or “rules” to abide to. No manager was on duty to speak to and none of the men working were willing to help us. Thank goodness for a very sweet couple who picked us up along the way, or we would have missed the ferry and half froze to death.
Completely and utterly disappointed in this experience, and I certainly will not be returning to rent with this company ever again, nor will any of my network or business partners.
