The whole process was seamless including the return. We were offered an upgrade at the same price. The car was in excellent condition.

Too bad no one told me I had heated seats; I didn't notice until I was on my way home from Washington. I also had only Sirius radio (which kept cutting out), or else I didn't know how to get to the normal radio. I do tend to be a Luddite. The car (a Nissan?) was nice but still outgassing the toxic new car smell (which everyone has been brainwashed into believing is a good thing). I had hoped for an older car, and this one was a 2018. I also hadn't realized Hertz is closed on Sunday, so had to go and come back after finally finding a friend to follow me so I had a ride home. Hertz should just assume that people are ignorant; explain the car's features, and remind us that no one is there on a Sunday or after noon on Saturday.
