Our review is this: they were good when we picked up the car. The car ran well, but then the troubles began when we came to return the car: First of all no body at the rental agency told us that there was really no service station that was noticeable once you came within a few miles of the airport. Thus we had already passed up the chance to gas up back on the near west side of Spokane (and were running out of time to catch the plane on a snowy morning). So we were forced to fork over $14.00 for gas since we did not have time to go back and top off the gas tank. Next, when we got to the car return at the airport there was nobody to greet us at the return site and there were two long lines of cars that were sitting there in front of us with their blinker lights going and nobody in the cars. So we could only guess that we should clear out our car, leave it at the end of the line and head into the airport and to the car rental desk. And yes, that was what we did, but it was all a bit chancy. Have never had an experience like this. When I complained to the staff at the desk about the long line of cars with their blinkers on and the fact that nobody warned us when we first picked up the car that there would be no gas stations near the airport, they acted insulted, as if I was supposed to know all the ropes. And what really made the whole thing bad was that the weather was very bad and snowy. Now that is not the rental agency's fault, but the bad weather conditions just made the setting more open for exposing the two areas of complaint. If they would have been doing their job, it would have made the pressure of snowing less stressful in the bad visibility of early morning at the airport. So again, good pick-up experience but not a good return experience, especially when it turned out to be a dark and snowy morning. Thanks for hearing me out. I would love to hear from the manager at the Spokane Airport and if this person would call, I promise to be respectful. Yours, Dr. Woodrow W. Whidden, II

I rented a Subaru Forester in Spokane, WA. The car was in excellent condition. The check out process was very efficient and no hard sell for any extras. The return was just as efficient , took more time for me to get all my stuff out of the car than for them to check it in.
