Question 1

What are the major attractions in San Lorenzo?

Accepted Answer

If your trip to San Lorenzo is all locked in but your itinerary is looking a bit empty, we can give you a few hints and tips.

There are loads of things to see and do around here. Don't head home without exploring Children's Eternal Rainforest and Quesada City Park. If you have time, also check out Guillermo Vargas Roldan Stadium.

Question 2

What are the best road trip destinations near San Lorenzo?

Accepted Answer

With some great road trip options in the surrounding area, having your own car makes sense. Without one, it'd be much more difficult to explore all that La Fortuna, 17 miles away, has to offer. Tabacon Hot Springs should be at the top of your list here. Baldi Hot Springs and La Fortuna Waterfall are interesting attractions too. The locals are also likely to point you toward Monteverde, 20 miles away. If you can only see one thing here, let it be Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. (But we're also huge fans of Selvatura Adventure Park and Reserva Biológica Bosque Nuboso Monteverde.)

Question 3

What kind of rental car should I get for San Lorenzo?

Accepted Answer

Whether you're on the road by yourself or with the whole gang, we're here to help find the perfect set of wheels for you in San Lorenzo. If you'd rather something small, why not consider a mini or compact? These zippy cars are a breeze to park and cheap on gas. Excited to get out and explore the surrounding areas? An SUV or a full-size car could be perfect. If you'd prefer to pull out all the stops on your getaway, drive around in style with a feature-packed premium car.

Question 4

Should I get a luxury rental car in San Lorenzo?

Accepted Answer

For some of us, owning a prestige vehicle is little more than a pipe dream. But renting the car of your dreams is absolutely within your grasp! Picture yourself rolling into town in a swanky sports car, even if it's only for a few days. Or perhaps all you're looking for is a dependable set of wheels to get you from point A to point B. Affordable or flashy? Whatever you decide, one thing's for sure — there's a rental car to suit your style in San Lorenzo.

Question 5

What happens if I get a speeding fine while driving a rental car in Cantón San Ramón?

Accepted Answer

Normally your chosen car rental company will bill the amount stated on the fine to your credit card, including local taxes and surcharges. Otherwise, they may forward your contact details to local law enforcement agencies, who'll then issue a fine straight to you.
