Booked at Interrent, but then got Goldcar. Both are cheap daughters of Europcar. Interrent charges a very high deposit of about £ 900 in London. That should be considered, because other providers charge much less. 1. Pick-up: The Interrent staff at the pick-up was too good to fill out the claim form to document existing damage. I should just take pictures. 2. Service not available by phone: we had 2 hours late. I wanted to let the Interrent Station know at the airport. Interrent were not available by phone. The telephone number of the InterRent station at the airport only gave "no connection under this number". I had the phone number. from the Interrent website, so it would have to be right. Cardelmar had given me the centralized Interrent hotline number. It was not better either. There I was repeatedly forwarded to the Spanish hotline of Goldcar. As soon as I spoke in English, they allegedly forwarded me to the English hotline. Then there was 5 minutes of music to hear until it was automatically hung up. I tried it 3 times and then gave up. 3rd return: Everything was great. The return in London Stansted takes place at Europcar, not at Interrent. Very nice lady from Europcar, who worked thoroughly and quickly. 4. Car: Booked was a small car with 4 doors, got like a very small Fiat 500 with 2 doors. Was still OK. The car was in good shape and had 10,000 miles on the clock. 5. Value for money: very good. For 6 days in London-Stansted we paid 54 EUR, incl. Premium package from Cardelmar. Still, I would not take Interrent again. I'd rather pay more elsewhere and get better staff, better emergency hotline, lower bail, better transaction.

I was very satisfied, in principle. Although I had to pay a lot more on the ground, that was at least my fault. As compensation maybe for this we got a brand new car. All good
