We waited an hour in line to pick up what was supposed to be a full size car. Instead, we were given a minivan. Normally, I would have been happy with this, but the 2017 Kia minivan was absolutely filthy and beat up with a broken tail light (which we discovered later had a turn signal that didn’t work). After driving back, at night, from Rum Point, we encountered some sea spray on the windshield. When I tried to clean the windshield, I almost had an accident because there was NO windshield wiper fluid left!!! We stopped at a gas station to clean the windshield and went directly to Budget to exchange the vehicle. The Budget employee blamed the dirty condition of the vehicle on the customers who rent them!! Wow! Last I checked, the rental car company usually cleans the vehicle. Then they exchanged it for a full size 2017 Kia that was just as dirty and beat up as the minivan. My wife and I swore that the condition of the interior of both vehicles looked like it was 20+ years old, not 3. To say the least, we were extremely disappointed. That was the worst rental car experience I have ever had.

Car was good, pick up and drop off took a long time.

While the people were very nice, I had two difficulties at this location. First, the car I rented had front brakes that were shot; metal on metal. The good news is that I called and they delivered a replacement car within an hour. Second, at drop off I waited in line for almost 1/2 hour only to learn that I could have gone to a counter to the right and not waited. There was no sign that said drop off or returns to differentiate the drop off desk from the pick up line. Adding a sign would be a simple fix.
