Everything went smoothly. In a short time, the car was available to me. Even a class higher than booked. Car was great. When returning I found stupid that on Sunday the office was not occupied, it was just a small branch. The liability would remain with the tenant until four hours after opening (would have been on Monday). Since the excess was taken over by Cardelmar, a loss would have been no matter. But if I had a deductible, it would have worried me. Otherwise everything was, as I said normal, went fast and the car was great. The price anyway.

The wait time was too long for my taste. But the car was great: brand new and very economical. I will definitely go again.

First off I have rented from the same agency for years - last year I extended my rental by a week due to my mother I law's hospital stay (She turned 94) I also had a problem with the hospital's new parking tower and scraped the side of the car - this was covered by MasterCard so ok This year was my mother in law's 95 birthday and I pre rented again from the same agency But when I arrived at AMS customs said I had an outstanding speeding ticket (I have not had any ticket in over 40 years) and could not enter the country until i paid it (90 euros) They told me that the ticket would have been sent to the rental agency and they should have sent it on ho me - I had been communicating with the agency after my trip to submit my claim to MasterCard so they had both my home phone and my email, address - I received nothing WHY? Customs shuffled me over to a side bench in front of all still clearing customs - every one looking and wondering why I had been pulled aside - thanks to the agency I felt like a criminal When I picked up ,y car this year I asked them and they said it was not them but the head office for Budget -What can you tell me about this as that rental was through you Now onto this year's rental where after telling them the car must be able to accommodate a wheelchair - they said they upgraded my rental to a Citroen cactus- it would only accommodate my mother in law's wheelchair by putting 2 of the back seats down meaning only 3 passengers and we were 4 so we had to borrow a smaller chair so that we all could travel Ok so now onto returning that car I rented the car from Friday to 11days later which was Sunday 21 Oct as we were returning to YVR the next day What a surprise when we found the agency closed They knew the start and return days on the contract and never mentioned that they would be closed and what we needed to do to return it. So we drove the half houf back to Ryswyk to phone budget who were surprised we were not so informed and that we should drive back to the agency and park it on the street and drop the keys and contract in their drop box So off we went again and when we got there the agency was open from 4PM till 8PM to take in returns they said we should have been told So we ended up looking our last day due to this unprofessional mix up Now why should I consider you next October when my mother in law turns 96? So 2 questions you can answer What ticket send me a copy What do you consider waiting my last day is worth
