The person who helped me was very nice, but the company’s overall customer service is really poor. They really don’t go out of their way to help out the customer.
They are really pushy when they try to sell you their 30$/day Loss damage waiver.
Their cars are NEVER at full tank, and they want you to bring it back at the same level, if you accidentally exceed that level, they don’t pay you back for the gas you are basically giving them. I suspect that is their plan.
Cars aren’t very clean.
They should look at Enterprise to understand what good customer service is.

Car was very good but purchased prepaid no change option due to price. My flight ran late & city location was closing at 2 pm. Called to tell them my situation & claimed corporate shutdown's there system so have to call to see what they will do. Uncooperative agent only would give me until 2:15 pm to wait. Asked for Supervisor bit claimed they wouldn't do anything. Had to take cab to location which cost $47 & very stressful. Be a long time before I use Hertz again. Never had problem with them before.

Had a few additional unexpected charges but it was a good experience overall.
