When we arrived for pickup of the vehicle, we were told the vehicle was not available. They then advised they could only supply a van, and it would take an hour to be ready. We were told the Avis / Car Rentals system accepted the booking regardless of whether a vehicle was available. In the end, we waited for over three hours before we finally got the van. A joke.

The cars was dented and scratched. It had over 80,000 miles on it and it took 10 minutes to list all the damage on paperwork. When I returned it they said I did the damage even though the damage was listed on paperwork. They called the police on me because I refused to pay for the damage I did not do. I bought the extra insurance and the extorted 7000 pesos out of me because the police were there and the police said this Avis office does this all the time.... omg this really was bad
