Overall, I had a very good experience. However (when checking in), they did not have my CarRentals.com reservation, so they were going to charge me just under $1,000 (incl. fees + taxes). It was good that I had both my original CarRentals.com email and printout, or it would have been difficult to proove. After 30-40 minutes, they resolved it by honoring my CarRentals.com reservation. I never had any hassle from the rep, they just had to check with their internal procedures on how to modify on their reservation system.

I had a great experience with Dollar. They helped me quickly (especially important as I was traveling alone with my toddler) and got me on my way. The counter agent was very nice and really helpful. I also liked being able to choose my own car.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The car was really nice and clean inside and out. The compact car was actually roomy with a huge trunk that fit 3 large suitcases and 2 carryon pieces.
