I was not impressed to find out when we picked up our car that I could not purchase liability insurance when in fact I had received a quote with liab. We had no choice but to go ahead with the rental because it was too late to book anywhere else. also they moved before we returned it and the person we dealt with was supposed to let us know but never did. then it tokens 10 minutes to find the new counter inside the new hotel.

I picked up my first car with them on the first day of my trip. It was very damaged all around cracked bumper scratches and dings everywhere but it would work fine or so I thought. While driving to the hotel it became apparent that the brakes did not work well and eventually did not work at all. It was a scary drive as they became worse and worse as we drove and it seemed just as dangerous to turn around and go back to the rental garage. Once at the hotel we called to have the car replaced but they couldn't replace the car until the next day at 1pm. The next car worked fine and was fine for the rest of the trip. The customer service was nice and I believe they did all they could, but the fact that I was originally given a car that was unsafe and then they could not replace this car until the next day at 1pm I found unacceptable. I will not be using a payless car rental again.
