The first person I encountered at the SIXT rental counter was incredibly rude. He spoke to me as though I offended him by booking the reservation online only one hour prior to pick up. He informed me I was obliged to wait because the police had blocked off the street. Only they had not blocked the street - they were supervising the movement of heavy equipment, and I could have easily picked up the vehicle and left. According to the rude employee, I was obliged to wait thirty minutes maybe one hour. Additionally the selection of cars was inadequate. There was only one vehicle with the appropriate tires for driving in Germany (30 minutes away from the rental location), so my only option was to take this car which was the most expensive in the fleet.

The person who waited for me and delivered my vehicle was really attentive, the conditions of arrival in the station made difficult by a delay of my train and the uncertainty to be before 22:00 on the spot increased my stress. The kindness and professionalism of my interlocutor allowed me to arrive safely at my place of accommodation and so to be able to leave the next morning to my professional appointment.

"We didn't have time to clean it, don't pay attention" Uhhh, yes okay, but on the other hand I had the right to a 5 minute presentation on the scratches of the body. Level of service not really that great, cleaning not done but ... whatever, even if I paid for it. For the return, there was supposed to be someone but there was no one ... In short, very limited service unfortunately.

I learned at the counter that the price would be 3 times higher than what was encrypted on my reservation. Dropout costs were mentioned but not quantified. I found the process rather dishonest. Technical difficulties related to the contract and the payment considerably lengthened the time to recover the vehicle.
