I rented a vehicle just to drive to and from work while my personal vehicle was being repaired. I barely used the rental vehicle. I turned it in early. It has been 16 days since I turned it in and I have yet to receive my deposit back. They also have a bunch of hidden fees that were not mentioned prior to my arrival. Although I have Full coverage insurance I was forced into adding additional coverage. This center NEVER answers the phone and its not even possible to leave a voice message because their mail box is full. Comes to show how well they take care of customers. After paying for the insurance I asked the rep to better explain why I needed to pay the additional $80 and his response was that he had already explained it to my husband.

Lots of hidden fees that just had to be paid when we showed up to get the rental. Including a sun pass fee that we did not get each time we took a toll they would charge us 14.99 when the signs all showed them being under a dollar fees. The saving grace was that the van that picked us up and dropped us off at the airport was prompt and had courteous workers.

My experience would have been good has USave honored the so-called Total Amount of Your Booking, which should have been $21.76. But no, the clerk had to pull the You can't rent the car without Supplemental Liability Insurance, scam to make extra money. In reality, the USave insurance policy is as follows, and I quote form their website's Rental Rules and Restrictions section: RENTERS MUST SHOW THE POLICY CARD INSURANCE AT THE COUNTER TO COVER VEHICLE WITH CUSTOMER`S PERSONAL INSURANCE. Proof of FULL INSURANCE COVERAGE (collision and liability) that will transfer to the Rental Unit MUST be provided at the time of rental. Otherwise Renter MUST purchase Collision Coverage and Supplemental Liability Insurance at the time of Rental. Instead, I was told that I had to get the SLI (even though I am insured by State Farm). Because I had to get to my destination, I had to pay the extra money. But it was very dishonest for the clerk to avoid this matter and then tell me I had to use their insurance even though I already have insurance. Incidentally, the people standing in front of me at the USave service counter had the same thing told to them. They wisely left without renting from USave. Meanwhile, I think I should be refunded the extra money that I was wrongly charged.
