The car was fine, but the rental was more expensive than we had planned. We've rented from Tulsa many times, but this time it was significantly more.

I picked up my car but when I looked at the invoice, I was charged over $200 more than the carrentals.com price I agreed to in my reservation. Additionally the car I received has such a terrible spoiled smell in it I was overwhelmed at times, during the first leg of my journey. I had to stop and purchase car air fresheners. This was in all honesty, my worst car rental experience.

My experience with Thrifty/Dollar car rental was the worse!! I booked a SUV 2 weeks in advance but when I arrived I was told SUV'S are to get on Tuesday and Wednesday so they upgraded (lol) to a Nissan Sentra, at no cost, I got stuck in the snow storm because I had a front wheel drive car not a all wheel drive SUV like I ordered. After pick up was told when I got to destination to have it replaced tried every day for 6 days to get replaced but NO ONE!!! could do that said I needed a claim number however no one could do that either was transferred to so many people just to end up where I started. I needed a SUV because I needed to bring boxes and small furniture back but I had to have them shipped so I drove to Arizona for no reason. Will NEVER rent through this 3rd party or dollar/thirty again.
