My experience with Thrifty/Dollar car rental was the worse!! I booked a SUV 2 weeks in advance but when I arrived I was told SUV'S are to get on Tuesday and Wednesday so they upgraded (lol) to a Nissan Sentra, at no cost, I got stuck in the snow storm because I had a front wheel drive car not a all wheel drive SUV like I ordered. After pick up was told when I got to destination to have it replaced tried every day for 6 days to get replaced but NO ONE!!! could do that said I needed a claim number however no one could do that either was transferred to so many people just to end up where I started. I needed a SUV because I needed to bring boxes and small furniture back but I had to have them shipped so I drove to Arizona for no reason. Will NEVER rent through this 3rd party or dollar/thirty again.

It seems as if the agent did not know much, he had to call someone twice to get an answer during my time waiting for my vehicle. It took awhile. We were both tired. He said so as well. He also seems very short and curt with me, when he asked me about insurance, and I refused it. He questioned me about my insurance company, and when I provided him with a thorough answer why I am refusing coverage, he criticized my response.

Everything from the pickup to the operation of the car to the dropoff went off without a hitch.
