I was not pleased with the extra cost I had to pay because Milwaukee was not a surrounding state .....didn't know about this until I was at the counter.

Took almost 30 minutes to pick up my car. There were 3 check in personnel there but only one was helping customers even when the line got pretty lengthy. I was the only person in line too, however someone who arrived after me jumped in front of me and the associate didn't say anything. Not happy about that. The return was very fast and easy however. Wish it could have been the same for both.

I was given a sheet and told to go by myself to check the car out for dents and damage. I had never been told to do it by myself and I was caught off-guard. There were numerous dents and dings and I marked them (although I did mark a significant ding on the driver's side when it should have been marked on the passenger's side and the attendant was fair with that and just told me to be careful next time. But there was a very small chip in the windshield that I didn't notice at all and when I brought it back the attendant went right to it and marked it. Again I was caught off-guard and didn't notice that (like I marked the ding on the wrong side of car). I can guarantee you that small chip was there when I picked it up but didn't notice it and now I had to fill out a form and have the adjuster or whomever from Thrifty call me. I feel as though I was taken advantage of with that chip. It was on the passenger's side down low. I certainly don't feel like I have to pay for something that was there. To me it seems like Thrifty absolves itself from all liability when they had a novice customer quickly look over a car. I will say that the car was certainly not full with gas and I was told (certainly not politely) to go over there and get it filled, and Thrifty did fill the tank to full, no questions.
