When I picked up the car I told them I will not be dropping it off until 4 not 10 !!! I was told that was ok and no extra charge!! Well wrong was charged for extra 4 hrs!!! They would not adjust the bill got charged 399. Instead of 367 what was given to me when I picked up the car

Even tho check out was a breeze. I reserved my car well in advanced and they did not have the Ez pass device in my car and told me to just ride through all the tolls. I did that but it caused some anxiety because none of the lights turned green when passing through. It was a bad feeling being I was traveling far and going through alot of tolls...i paid for unlimited and I should not have had to had gone through that. It was bad...

I had a great experience booking with carrentals.com and a seamless pickup at Thrifty. I was pleased with the vehicle that I was given, but it was unfortunately obvious that the vehicle had not been cleaned after the previous user dropped it off (coffee stains on the seat, stained mats). I rented this vehicle as my own car was in the shop for repairs. I was not sure how long I would need the rental, so I asked the gentleman who assisted me with the pickup what would happen if I needed to bring the car back early. He stated that if it was brought back within 24 hours I would be charged a fee. I brought the car back 2 days and a half later and was assisted promptly with the return of my vehicle. When I got home and received my email receipt, I was surprised to find not only the fee mentioned earlier, but a much higher rate than the one I agreed to. Not only was I not initially warned about a higher rate for an early return, but the fee and rate were not explained when I dropped the car back off (I would have kept it for longer!). When I called corporate for an explanation, I was tossed from department to department until an individual offered me a voucher for a future rental (to date, I have not received this voucher). Unfortunately, I don't believe I would be inclined to rent with Thrifty again due to this experience.
