Once again Sixt disappoints by having the advertised car unavailable and asking the customer who pre- paid over $100 a day to re-read the fine print

When I arrived they gave me a Toyota corola instead of the car that I chose from car rentals.com instead of upgrading me with no charge or giving me something else the same size they gave me a Corolla which I could have gotten for $40 less from any agency

We received a great rate on a vehicle, we also received a call at 7:55 pm letting us know that the location is closing at 8 pm, despite our reservation being to pick up the car at 8:30 pm. Our flight landed at 8:05 pm, and we were unable to get the vehicle that evening. Inconvenient, and frustrating as we had the reservation for weeks in advance. We Ubered to a our hotel, then to Sixt in the morning to pick up the car. My expectations were low at this point, but Tabitha did all she could to make it right, and we were satisfied when we left. I grant a lot of grace for the limited workforce due to Covid closures, and I appreciate each employee who was working. I am leaving MEH review because nothing was spectacular. The cars were dirty, many on the lot had flat tires, the employees who were there were doing their best, I felt there was poor management of this location. I have rented from Sixt before in LA and had a much better experience. I have rented from other companies in West Palm, and will probably return to one of them in the future.
